Bdp3000/12 Firmware Update
I have recently bought a philips BDP3000 blu-ray player and am trying to connect it to the internet to use the BD-Live feature, however, when I try to connect I get an 'Unable to obtain IP address' error. I thought this may have something to do with my Belkin router and so by-passed that and wired straight into my virgin cable modem, however, I still get the same error message. Philips customer service are very unhelpful, telling me they will escalate problem, but I have heard nothing back. Has anyone come accross this problem and does anyone know a fix? thanks.
Bdp3000 Firmware Update Ios
I'm just after others experiences with the upgrading. Got my player a month or so back, and very pleased with it.
But one odd thing i've had is the firmware upgrading. I did it once and (after a scary moment where it decided it needed unplugging twice before it would start) all worked fine.
Then a few weeks later I thought i'd just check again, and there was another update. That got me thinking and eventually I was there for at least 30 mins going through the procedure again and again. Reckon i've done it at least 7 times now, but every time it says there's upgrades available.
Just wondering if anyone knows how many it will need, or if it just says there's an update, but it's just the same one each time. The Philips site is useful, no clear info on driver/update history.
